Investors should be aware of the overall dangers the legal profession present to companies, and how its current and generalized naiveté can sink fortunes overnight. While I know of no corporation that has been bankrupted by this sort of fiasco, it will happen eventually if lawyers doesn't catch up with the times.

I took several months off, but now I am back... Not that anyone noticed.

So what is new? My company, USA Print Broker, Inc., is coming along quite well. We have sold two franchises, one in San Diego and another in Nashville. You can buy one too! Just check out my other site here.

In Other News:
My RAID died, and I am spending the day setting it up again. I am still using an old PC from the Next Step Solutions days. It is a screaming fast dual processor P2 machine (/sarcasim) well suited for file sharing. Installing Windows Server is quite a boring task, hence my blog revitalization.

My son is almost 4! Damn I am old.

USA Print Broker, Inc. is looking for a new office. With 5 employees we have outgrown our current space and need something new. Options are retail spot on Bardstown Road or re-zoned house on Taylorsville Road. The house is kick ass, but the office is much less.... We should have an answer next week.

For my dear friends from the past (in case any of you ever see this): Somehow I managed to save all of the files, music, etc. from yester-year. It claims a mere portion of my TB+ array now (Remember, no WAY we could need a TB!)... If you want any of it just email me and I will send you a  hard drive or something. (I even have massive amounts of NSS hardware, unpacked from many years ago....) --- email me at david [dot] /brown/ %at% dkb.net

Until next time, check out the cheesy photos of USA Print Broker at our latest trade show convention: photo1, photo2

go USA!
I am so happy I don't know what to say.

Throw this query into Google:

Replace "Search Name" with the name of your favorite song/artist and see what happens. Slight changes to this can locate eBooks, movies, porn, etc.

Mmmmm good old milk. Yes you can get it online, and just look at the great reviews!

And if that wasn't great enough, this review is from the book What Does This Say?: Family Circus (Bil Keane)

Yeats once wrote, "None other knows what pleasures man/At table or in bed." Bil Keane, however, seems to have found in his latest 'Family Circus' opus a treasure-chest of pleasures for each and all of us.

There are some who chafe at the seeming repetitive themes within Keane's major works; I would respectfully submit that all great stories are about life and death, love and loss, fear and triumph. If not Keane, then so go Shakespeare, Lewis Carroll, Sor Juana Inez de la Cruz and Callimachus, too, for good measure. It is not originality that spawns thought and wonderment; it is the vessels of those themes (Billy, Grandma, Barfy, PJ) that inspire and enlighten.

Keane, as carrier of these vessels, reminds us of a truth so eloquently immortalized by Ralph Waldo Emerson: "Some books leave us free and some books make us free." In 'What Does This Say', it is clear that the tome achieves the latter, with gusto and aplomb.

A good friend of mine wrote this great song, The Democracy Fight Song. Check it out and let me know what you think.
