Liger

When I was at the gas station, I overheard two dudes buying powerball tickets and having the following conversation:

Dude 1: "That liger was sleek, yo."

Dude 2: "Yes, totally, beautiful animal."

I have no idea what they were talking about.

Dude, where have you been. Ligers were soooo 2004 with their references in Napoleon Dynamite.

The liger is a cross between a male lion and a female tiger. It is therefore a member of genus Panthera. It looks like a giant lion, with diffused tiger stripes. Like tigers (and unlike lions), ligers like swimming.
