All of the houses on my street started out identical. In the intervening 50 years, they have all slightly deviated from the original floor plan. When we moved in, there was, no shit, a grow room under the basement stairs. Some neighbors have added additions, bathrooms, upstairs, downstairs, but they are all virtually identical. Somehow this has resulted in an idyllic neighborhood. I've never heard of a neighbor of mine accused of anything surreptitious. Mostly, we sit around and bitch about gas prices and our children and the weather.
Two days ago, I was smoking a cigarette in my backyard, checking on my strawberry patch, when I saw a man walk out of my neighbor' s shed. He stretched, and lit a cigarette. I think our neighbors have broken the code and are letting indigents stay in their potting sheds. I know they relegate their son back there when he has done something stupid, like "take 16 year old and methamphetamine to georgia". He's 40 something, so its not like slingblade. I'm just curious who this new dude is. He's in my neighborhood watch.
I'm finished with school.
And I got straight A's my last semester. Well, to be accurate, I got two A's an A- and three "passes" in pass/fails. However, I'm quite excited.
Now to find gainful employment. My student loans are going to be $868 a month.
